The Water Lily Gallery is a cooperative effort of the Lake Marion Artist Guild. The Gallery displays various mediums of art from local area artists. IN THE MONTH OF MARCH THE GALLERY WILL BE FEATURING ARTIST SUE "SUCZE" CZERWINSKI.  HER SHOW WILL BE TITLED
"THE SOURCE OF LIGHT: SUNRISE TO SUNSET."

The Lake Marion Artists Guild will hold a featured artist's reception on Saturday, March 6th, 2010 from 3pm-6pm.
The gallery is located at 111 Main Street, Summerton, SC

The exhibit will feature oil and watercolor paintings.  It can be viewed throughout the month of March and the gallery is open Thursdays and Fridays from 11am to 4pm and Saturdays from 10am to 3pm.

Ms. Czerwinski is originally from Wisconsin and comes to South Carolina after spending most of her career in law enforcement with the Federal Government in Washington, D.C. She retired in 2004 and moved to Manning with her husband Tom, a retired Professor from the Department of Defense.  They have two children, Wanda (Ray) Parrish in Fredericksburg, VA, Stefan (Michelle) in Charlotte, NC and one granddaughter Miranda Sue Parrish.  Sue began began her pursuit of art in high school and continued it casually throughout her career, supplementing it with various formal training courses and workshops.  Sue believes she inherited her love of art from her father, Allen Becker, who had a natural talent for pencil drawings.  Sue has been the Advisory Board of the Gallery for the past year as well has Secretary.
